SWP is planning to make a strategic investment in a new wind power blades manufacturing facility in Tangier.
The factory is planned to go operational in 2017 and will produce for export and the domestic market.

For our Material Management department, we are looking for a Logistic Coordinator.

Material Management is an internal service provider responsible for all equipment required for transporting, installing and servicing the wind turbines all over the world. The Material Management department is based in Denmark and consists of the Order Management team based in Brande and 6 Equipment Centres based in Esbjerg, Tinglev in Denmark Hull in England, Shanghai China and now Tangier in Morocco respectively. In total, Material Management employs approximately 90 dedicated people striving towards delivering world class services ensuring that materials for the wind power projects are available when needed.

Material Management is part of the global logistics organisation, and is involved through the full value chain, from designing over manufacturing to final installation and service of wind turbines all over the world.

What are my responsibilities?
  • Daily management of the warehouse including personnel management, blue and white collars, including yearly management reviews
  • Keep all documentation on calibration and certification up to date so it is available when requested (this includes lifting equipment)
  • Maintain training records to keep the relevant education (forklift certificate, crane certificate, dangerous goods) for the warehouse worker up to date
  • Contribute to a good and safe work environment. Demonstrate punctual business sense according to economy and functionality
  • Ensure fulfillment of relevant warehouse KPIs
  • Participate in preparing procedures
  • Ensure on-time spare part delivery according to guidelines.
  • Supporting in setting up the final logistics concept for the pre carriage of blades including infrastructure along the routing to the port
  • Maintaining the relation to the involved authorities and Stakeholders locally during the project execution
  • Conducts and coordinates logistics activities related to the pre carriage of blades to the port of export, port Services in the port of export and loadings inside the factory
  • Ensuring Timely and on budget delivery of blades to port of export and for port activities
  • Supports Procurement and outbound logistics functions during contract negotiations with contractors performing pre carriage and port services
  • Create and document claims towards suppliers
  • Support Business Administration in ordering and invoicing Services to internal stakeholders
 
Profil recherché
  • Business understanding of warehouse and quality management
  • Experience of working in an ISO environment
  • Previous management experience in either factory or warehouse function
  • You have ERP skills (WM/MM modules)
  • You are able to organize your own work to ensure all deadlines are met and responding in a timely manner to information requests from other areas of the business. Furthermore you are able to give input to strategic ideas and suggestions for improvements within the role and the department
  • You are detail-oriented, result-oriented and an excellent communicator
  • Additionally, you have knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience in negotiation with supplier and port services
  • Experience in working with export and custom authority’s
